18Montrose Celebrates Launch of Online Store With New Video

As we reported back in March, Glasgow has an exciting new player in its retail landscape: fashion, lifestyle and homewares boutique 18Montrose.
Having long touted itself as the edgier alternative to the capital, Edinburgh, it seems Glasgow now has a store to help prop up that reputation. Catering to both guys and girls, and carrying brands like APC, Stone Island, Rick Owens, Alexander Wang, Y-3, Helmut Lang and Common Projects — not to mention housing a full Aesop concession within the store — 18Montrose has added some real depth to shopping in the Scottish second city.
Up until this point, however, style-hungry Glasgwegians had to visit the store in person if they wanted to top up their wardrobe. Now, 18Montrose has saved them all a trip with the launch of a brand new website and e-commerce operation. To celebrate that fact, they’ve produced a short video with the help of creative agency &Son, run by Nick Griffiths and former i-D fashion director, Simon Foxton.

The folk at 18Montrose have promised future stores will be opening in both London and Nottingham soon.
In the meantime, check out Sunspel’s new location in Berlin.
