Courteney Cox certainly stole the show at today’s Ivor Novello Awards, but for all the wrong reasons.
The former Friends star wowed in a floor-length monochrome ensemble as she stepped out for the star-studded bash to support her on-again partner Johnny McDaid.
But photos taken from behind as she entered the event revealed an unfortunate wardrobe malfunction that caused her to flash her thong.
The gorgeous brunette opted for a too-sheer black skirt – it really needed a lining – and a loose white shirt tied at the waist.

Courteney Cox was monochrome beauty
Despite arriving separately, it’s thought Courteney was there to support Johnny McDaid – who’s one of the writers nominated for Best Song for Ed Sheeran’s Bloodstream – at the prize-giving.
The formerly engaged couple – who split in December last year – recently confirmed their romance was back on with a loved-up red carpet appearance.
They’re back on!
Meanwhile, it seemed the stars were out in force to celebrate the Ivor Novello Awards, with the likes of Myleene Klass, James Bay and Jess Glynne joining Courteney at the event.
Myleene’s animal print gown certainly caught the eye as she arrived at Grosvenor House in London to watch the winners crowned.
Showing off her slim figure in a leopard-print maxi dress, the TV presenter revealed a glowing tan.
Myleene Klass won the style crown
The star flaunted her cleavage in the low-cut number, and wore her blonder hair loose and wavy.
Meanwhile it was over to Jess Glynne to bring the colour – and she wore every shade imaginable.
Jess Glynne was multi-coloured
Showing off her edgy style, the singer chose a bizarre multi-coloured outfit, wearing her flame-coloured hair loose and curled, and adding a Harry Styles-style leather hat.
To complete the look – which would give Lady Gaga competition – she added circular sunglasses and showed off dramatic eye make-up.
James Bay and his hat
Craig David as cool as ever
Joining them were heartthrob James Bay, Shaun Ryder, Paul Davis, Shaznay Lewis, Craig David and more.
James had his signature hat on, and chose a navy blue shirt for the event – teaming it with black trousers and boots.
The Ivor Novello Awards celebrate “excellence in British and Irish songwriting and composing”.
According to the site, they are presented by BASCA and are judged by the UK songwriting and composing community.
