David Gest‘s ashes have been scattered in York in front of an emotional crowd, as close friends and family paid the star a final farewell.
The entertainer died last month in his hotel in London, and tributes have poured in ever since, with a funeral held just a few weeks later.
Now his ashes have been scattered from the top of one of the city’s most famous landmarks, Clifford’s Tower, following a small ceremony – with David’s sister Barbara Gerber also attending, the York Press reports.
Guests were seen holding out balloons and letting doves loose from the top of the tower in a touching tribute to the entertainer.
