Jamie Vardy and Rebekah Nicholson got married this week – and now details from the wedding are starting to emerge. What do you reckon Jamie served to his guests for dinner? Canapes? Ham hock terrines? Duck eggs?
Nope, he served up Pot Noodles – or rather, new wife Becky did.
The Daily Star reports that Becky played a joke on Jamie at their wedding, dishing out Pot Noodles to guests while joking that they’re the only thing Jamie can cook. Which is actually quite funny.
Guests were then served a proper sit-down dinner (which they would have been very relieved about).
Wise guests would have pocketed the Pot Noodle for next day’s hangover.
Jamie and Rebekah are now happily married
A wedding insider said: “The Pot Noodles caused a big laugh.”
The question is, is Jamie more a fan of Bombay Bad Boy or Chinese Chow Mein?
Wedding guest Tinchy Stryder has been busy sharing secrets from the lavish bash at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire from the morning after the night before.
Talking to followers on SnapChat, he said: “The last Snap I did was the paps but you know what, no phones or cameras are allowed in the wedding. Last night was a really, really good night.
Tinchy said he had a really, really good night
“Big up man like Vardy and Rebecca happily married couple and that – Mr and Mrs Vardy.
“I’ve kind of recovered but man like Simpson is still here.”
The camera then panned to Leicester City star Danny Simpson who admitted he had been up all night.
“No sleep, no time for sleep,” he said.
Louis Tomlinson on his way into the wedding
Tinchy, Westlife singer Shane Filan, 2013 X Factor winner Sam Bailey and Kasabian’s Serge Pizzorno were among the musical guests invited along to the big day.
Jamie’s gorgeous bride Becky stunned wedding guests by shunning the usual WAG-style gown and instead choosing a conservative couture gown designed by Caroline Castigliano.
A source told Mirror Celeb: “The dress was actually quite classic and conservative, not a usual revealing WAG style.”
Mirror Celeb has contacted Jamie’s reps for comment.
