One of 2015’s biggest streetwear stories was the demise of Karmaloop, the e-commerce giant that filed for Bankruptcy in March of last year. It seems Karmaloop’s founder Greg Selkoe hasn’t lost his entrepreneurial spirit, as he’s just announced his latest venture — one that is, once again, based around e-commerce.
Curateurs, a new online menswear retailer from Selkoe, takes you inside celebrity influencers’ closets in a completely legal, non-creepy way. Curateurs enlists the help of a select group of chosen influencers to share menswear pieces from their favorite designers. Some pieces may even come from their personal closets and collections.
The site has launched with A$AP Ferg, designer Jeff Staple and producer Ryan Leslie as the first three curators, though collaborations with the likes of Raekwon, GEazy and Fear of God’s Jerry Lorenzo are in the works. Each selected curator is also interviewed in-depth to provide detail on their chosen pieces.
Visit Curateurs to see the full range of items from the first three curators’ selections.
A$AP Ferg has had a busy month, check out his desert-set video with the A$AP Mob.
